Supply Chain Associate

About the Position

This role will be hybrid, partially based out of our Philadelphia, PA office location.

The Supply Chain Associate plays a key role in supporting end‑to‑end supply chain operations for Cabaletta’s clinical cell therapy programs. This role works closely with the Supply Chain Manager to coordinate time‑sensitive patient material shipments, manage critical raw materials, and ensure seamless execution across internal teams, clinical sites, and external manufacturing partners. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, highly cross‑functional environment and is motivated by work that directly impacts patient care.

Responsibilities Include

Patient & Clinical Shipment Coordination

  • Schedule, track, and manage patient‑specific material shipments, ensuring chain‑of‑identity and chain‑of‑custody requirements are met.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clinical sites, couriers, and manufacturing partners regarding shipment timing, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor shipment status in real time and escalate risks proactively to maintain on‑time delivery.

External Manufacturing & Vendor Support

  • Partner with CMOs to align on production schedules, material availability, and shipment timelines.
  • Support contract discussions by gathering data, tracking performance, and helping evaluate supplier reliability and cost efficiency.

Process Excellence & Documentation

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain accurate, audit‑ready records for all supply chain activities, including shipment documentation, inventory logs, and vendor communications.
  • Investigate and document discrepancies, deviations, or nonconformances as needed.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Clinical Operations, and Program Management to ensure supply chain activities support program goals.
  • Participate in cross‑functional initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain robustness, scalability, and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, life sciences, or related field; or 3–5 years of relevant supply chain experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain principles; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast moving environment with evolving priorities.
  • Experience in biotech, cell therapy, clinical supply chain, or a startup environment is preferred.
  • Strong team orientation and passion for continuous self-development
